My name is Ted Mattos, and I'm grateful you're taking time out of your busy day to come and check out my blog.
I've been into arts and crafts for as long as I can remember. At summer camp, while others were checking out fishing and archery, I was at the picnic tables making wood art, and Christmas ornaments out of pinto beans and glue. :)
I started more seriously into papercrafting in the early 90s when I discovered scrapbooking. However, after making a few scrapbook albums, I decided that I was growing bored with that, so I went on to cardmaking. I enjoyed the fact that the canvas was much smaller and that I could finish projects much more quickly. Also, the finished cards were mini-gifts I could give away to friends and family.
By day, I'm a Monkey Wrangler (AKA 4th grade teacher), and by nights and weekends, I find my therapy in inky fingers and paper cuts (I've gotten better with avoiding the latter!) :)
Thank you for checking out my blog, and I hope you'll do some looking around and if I can give some inspiration, I'm grateful, as many of you inspire me daily!
