Because Laurie told me to... ;) Autumn Blessings for you all!

Well, a sweetheart of a fellow crafter, LB (I call her) told me in a comment recently I had to post something. Far be it from me to ignore the commands of you beautiful women... so here you go.  :)

I decided to have some friends from work over to do some crafting. I also wanted to wish them a happy Fall. Why not combine the two cards?!

I was quite happy with the background I created... but it needed something more. So, I decided to glamour up the acorn and leaves... but then wanted to tie the glitter into the card itself. So, I added a strip of Scor-Tape and some glitter. Not sure if that was a wise move!

Here's a close-up of the acorn and leaves. Below that, is what I had on inside.

It was good to get back at the crafting table. :)

Thanks for looking and/or commenting!

So pleased you listened to Laurie. Such a handsome card Ted. I'm still waiting for my nuts to arrive. Such an effective combo of stamps. This is a real "must try" for me. Bravo!

How fun! A crafting party. . .what a great idea and great invites. I'm not sure what happened with the score tape and glitter on your card. It almost looks like it is still see through (at least from the photo). When I've done this, it looks like solid glitter paper. Hmmmmmmm. . . .still, it doesn't take anything away from it for sure. Love the idea of the crafting party! Best, Curt
