Starburst Jars

I always try to do something a little special for the office staff and custodian to let them know I'm looking forward to a great year with them.

This year, I thought I'd make some candy jars and fill them with Starburst candies. :) I also thought I'd create enough for my teammates as well as a special friend. :)

Here are the jars (I created seven of them and it took me mere minutes, thanks to the magic of MASS PRODUCTION ;) )

It's hard to tell, but the strawberry is up on dimensionals.  :)

And since my buddy/teammate Greg doesn't strike me a guy who would like some fruity jar on his desk, I figured I would pay homage to his native state of Michigan.  :)

Our custodian probably won't like fruity decoration either, and since I'm not sure what are his interests, he'll just be getting a plain jar brimmed with the candies. :)

Thanks for looking and/or commenting!

Love your fruit jars. Very colorful. This is a great idea. I think it is very thoughtful of you to tailor each jar to the recipient. What kind of jars are those?

Cute jars! I especially love the Detroit Tigers one, as a die hard fan myself! And by die hard fan, what I mean is, I have no idea who plays for them, what their record for the year is, or even who the coach is anymore, but they are my home team, so I love 'em! :D

Those are so (can I say cute to a guy) wonderful. I'm sure your co workers will appreciate them. How nice that you are spending part of your summer making presents and treats for your friends at work. I'm sure those jars will be empty in no time.

ooh yummy, I'd love a jar like that for my desk, but I know the kiddies would have their grubby little hands in it all day long (I work in a guidance office)! lol great gift idea though, love that strawberry!
