Flower Fusion - Note cards

Well, I wanted to whip up a box of note cards to keep on hand; it's always nice to have these for the unexpected gift. Of course, it's for the men in my life when it's hard to have these on hand!  ;) Thus why Best Buy gift cards are also nice to keep in storage! ;)

Anyway, I wanted to get my hands inky with the new PTI February release set, "Flower Fusion #1". Yes, it's going to be a series and yes, I'm quite happy about that...  I didn't think I would like it but it really is nice to make coordinating note cards or just clean-and-simple (CAS) cards!

Here's with what I came up:

Very simple and yet something I think makes a nice gift... especially for the lady in your life who loves sending out personalized notes! :)

Here are some close-ups:

Now, in that one, you can't really see the (in my humble opinion) cool embossed frame I created...so take a closer look at this next card:

Can you see it? Maybe in this next one?

How cool is that! :) I'm thinking of creating a simple tutorial on how to do that. If you think that would be worthwhile for me to do, let me know and I'll see if I can't find time to make it! ;)

Oh! Before I forget... see the little flower centers? It was rather easy to make those... with my handy-dandy 1/2" circle punch! Definitely something to know (if you want to punch out patterned paper, glitter paper, foil, etc.) to make as the flower's center. :)

Thanks for looking and/or commenting!

Ted these are the perfect gift. I like the contrasting colors you've used and the embossed frame definitely adds an eye-catching focal point.
Thanks for the tip about the circle punch too! Good to know.

These are great notecards Ted. I love that idea of embossing a frame for them. The flower is just the right size to fit. Great idea.

The embossed frame is the icing on the cake on these CAS cards! My favorite is the purple card with the yellow center. They pop!

These are great, Ted! Love the CAS style, and definitely the perfect gift to have on hand. The Flower Fusion #1 set didn't make it into my cart last time, but I'm thinking I might need to fix that for my next order.
