Well, HELLLOOOOOO there. Muahahaha *cough* haha *ahem*.... drat.
Welcome to the Eleventh Hour! Er.... mean the eleventh Happily Ever Challenged (HEC). This challenge can very well be the dream for which you've been waiting or the NIGHTMARE for which you've been dreading! *evil cackle is inserted here*
This challenge is a bit different than others I've done... with a bit more *evil sparkle in eye* INTERACTION! Ha!
In the States, for many years, we've celebrated October 31st, All Hallowed Eve, by gutting out pumpkins, shoving a candle in them and renaming them Jack... placing them on our porches in hopes to keep away the bad spirits of ghosts and ghouls.
TO NO AVAIL I SAY! Muahahaha!
No, what ends up happening is that these ghouls and goblins (accompanied by little mermaids and Pokemon critters) come up to our home and have the AUDACITY to knock on our door and ask if we have a TREAT for them otherwise they'd play a TRICK on us! *whimper*
So we best be stocked with candy and other goodies (toothbrushes will result in your home getting a new paint job... with EGG YOLK!)
This HEC is in honor of that. For this HEC, you'll have to come to my e-home and knock. I will then give you a "TRICK" or a "TREAT"! *laughs hysterically and realizes you're all staring at him so calms down*
Where was I? Yes...
You will need to "knock" on my door by emailing me at:
happilyevercrafter at gmail dot com
with the subject "TRICK OR TREAT, TED!"
I will then "answer" the door by replying with either "TRICK!" or "TREAT!"
If I reply with "TRICK!" then you'll have to create a Halloween card with NON-traditional images and colors:
Color choices: pastel pink, pastel blue, and/or pastel green.
Images: cute birds, puppy dogs, and/or adorable kittens (no black cats allowed!)
If I reply with "TREAT!" then you'll be able to create a Halloween card with TRADITIONAL images and colors:
Color choices: black, green, purple, orange, yellow
Images: bats, witches, ghosts, candy corn, monsters, vampires, etc.
Now...how will I determine who gets a TRICK and who gets a TREAT? Easy enough.
I'll alternate them. When I open up my email for the FIRST time, that person will receive a TREAT. The next email will get a TRICK, third email a TREAT, and so on... so you'll just have to HOPE for a treat, now won't you?! >:)
I will stop answering my door (ie. replying to emails) after October 25, 2010.
Of course, this is the honor system... you're counting on my honor that I'm being honest about what you get and I'm counting on your honor that you're willing to be BRAVE enough to make a Halloween card even if you get a "TRICK". ;)
Hope that was clear as a witch's brew!
Here are the usual GHOUL-lines...I mean GUIDELINES!
1. You will post it on your blog or gallery.
2. You will then need to copy the URL of the BLOG POST (not your blog, but the actual post where you're featuring the project).

6. I will choose a random number/winner then and post it.
7. The winner will have until Monday, November 1 to email me at happilyevercrafter at gmail dot com. If I don't receive an email by then, I'll re-draw a number and so on.

A TEN DOLLAR PAPERTREY INK GIFT CERTIFICATE! MUAHAHAHAH!
