Dawn's challenge was to use the following colors:
I'm new to challenges, but I think it's good in that it forces one to think a certain way or try something he/she may not have tried. I reckon that's why they call it a "challenge", eh?
Dawn mentioned that we don't have to use PTI colors, and that's a good thing because I only used Aqua Mist from PTI. :) I had no cream color paper (something I must remedy soon!) but found Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up!) :)
Here's my card...
For the flower, I used a "Star Flower" punch and punched out two flowers. I then inked the edge of each petal and then stacked them, alternating the top one ever-so-slightly.
Here's a close-up of the flower...
Here's a close-up of the sentiment... a stamp from my stash (sorry I can't remember where I got it! :) )
Thanks for looking and/or commenting! :)
Recipe:
Ink: Bashful Blue (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Barely Banana, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up!); Aqua Mist (Papertrey Ink)
Other: Nestabilities, Scallop Edge Punch, Dark Chocolate buttons (Papertrey Ink), Rustic twine (Papertrey Ink), Dimensionals, ATG, Flower Punch, Dark Chocolate topnotch twill (Papertrey Ink)

Im loving your flower on this card and how you inked the edges really made them pop! You did a great job with the challenge! Im trying to make my own card with this color combo but Im finding it very challenging! :o<
Great to see you taking part in this challenge Ted, I was kinda hoping you would! Love the double punched flower and how it's been framed perfectly by Nestabilities. You *have* to get your PTI colours ordered and in your stash though, what are you thinking man?! They're the best!!!
Gorgeous card, Ted. It's a great color combo, isn't it? I really like the flower. And you should try the Rustic Cream cardstock from PTI. I love it!
Love the flower on the card..... love the colors!!! I have to get involved in more challenges then trying to get my kids to stop fighting :) I like craft challenges much better!!!
Lovely! I especially like the offset scallop at the bottom. I will have to try that.
How can you not love those colors? Great card especially how you matched the scallops on the bottom to the scallops on the circle. Highlighting the flower petals gives them a subtle pop...Well done!
Wonderful card, Ted!
Very cute! I really like the look of the scallop border at the bottom.
Goodness, how I love the colors she chose for this challenge. I love all the scallops. Lots of texture, but not overdone!
Fantastic Ted!! I struggled with these colors for some reason, love them all and finally got it done!!
Glad you decided to jump in Ted, and wow, what a card you came up with! I love the flower you made!
Love it! (My birthday is March 13th just in case you need someone to send it to!)
Oh I think this is gonna be the first of many Raspberry Suite Colour Challenges you play along with ;D
Loving that flower - so pretty and you've balanced the colours so well!
Seriously - you NEED PTI's Vintage Cream cardstock; it's GORGEOUS!

I really like your card, Ted! The flower makes a great focal point and the bow offsets it really well.
